About LIMUN
Leirion MUN Academy specializes in conferences with a small number of committees and a small number of participants. This is to offer each student the opportunity to actively participate in the simulation from the beginning until the end of the conference. Active participation is the key for any individual to develop their skills and enrich their academic knowledge.
This conference attracts 400 participants from across the world engaging in public speaking, lobbying, and debating.

What delegates do
- Represent an assigned country across one or more UN committees
- Engage with delegates from across Europe and beyond
- Build skills in digital diplomacy and remote negotiation
- Deliver formal and impromptu speeches in committee sessions
PREPARATION
UUMUN delegates partook in bi-weekly training sessions, even though it was unsure at the time if the conference was going to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
PAST RESULTS
Not only did the entire 17th delegation receive an honourable mention, but some delegates also won individual prizes for their participation in the various committees of Leirion MUN. Eight delegation members were elected ‘Best Delegate’, the award for the most diplomatic and influential person in the MUN simulation.
