Every year, UUMUN sends delegations to two Model United Nations conferences around the world. Each conference has its own page below — dates, location, and what to expect as a delegate.
Madrid, Spain · Autumn
IEUMUN
An international MUN conference hosted by IE University, drawing delegates from across Europe to debate global policy.
Harvard, USA · Spring
Hnmun
One of the largest student-run MUN conferences in the world, hosted by Harvard University, bringing together thousands of delegates.
Oxford, UK · Autumn
Oximun
One of Europe’s largest Model UN conferences, hosted annually by Oxford University. UUMUN has built a strong tradition of competing here, earning consistent delegation and individual awards.
Montreal, Canada · Autumn
MUN-C
In 2020, the 16th delegation of UUMUN won nine prizes at Montreal MUN, among which the prestigious Best Delegation Award, out of more than 500 participants.
Athens, Greece · Spring
Limun
The Leirion International Model United Nations in Athens Greece was first attended by the 17th delegation in 2021. This conference attracts 400 participants from across the world engaging in public speaking, lobbying, and debating.

Internal Training Conferences
Training sessions twice a week where members practise speeching, lobbying and strategy ahead of international conferences.

Apply
Members apply for a spot on the board or delegation ahead of each conference season.

Train
Selected delegates prepare through trainings twice a week in speeching, lobbying and strategy.

Compete
Delegates travel to represent Utrecht University at the conference itself.
